Zero spent his first year and a half growing up on a military camp. It's a double edged sword as an environment for dogs.

It's good because it's completely enclosed so you can let them off lead in the evening without any risks if you have one of those flashy... Light... Bulb... Attachy... Blinky... Things so you'll never lose them even if they do scarper (only happened once when he saw a rabbit), but it's also a bit bad because in a military environment 99.9% of people absolutely love dogs, so mine now believes that everyone loves him and he must approach them and expect hugs and petting.

I am not yet tending Tamaskans, just GSDs and a couple of foster ruffs atm. my time is split between petroleum chemist in Texas and self reliant farmer in Wyoming. My ruffs N woofs run free in the pastures as they like.
