You can access your avatar by visiting the user control panel (on the top bar of the forum)
Then from the options down the left choose profile and then edit avatar.
Avatars cant be larger than 250 x 250

And yes I have broken into some of your accounts and set one up for you, cos im bossy

Here is a very easy to use website for creating a suitable file for your avatar.

You simply choose the picture you want, leave the settings as they are and then click "resize image". It will give you a few different cropped options and you can just save whichever one you want. You can then upload this image onto the avatar section of the forum with no image size/file size errors.
